Children who may need the Developmental Center include those with:

  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Retts Syndrome
  • head Injury
  • Developmental Delay
  • Visual or Hearing Problems
  • Drug Exposure
  • Prematurity
  • Low Birth Weight
  • Down Syndrome
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

If your child seems to have difficulty talking, walking or playing like other children of the same age, see your doctor.

Referrals

Referrals are made by physicians, psychologists,
schools, social service agencies, and families.
After the initial contact, an evaluation is then scheduled to determine the appropriate program for the child and family.
